CARLA LUCCHETTA: writer, television producer, host, teacher
As a ten year practioner of public relations, working for Roy Thomson/Massey Hall, International Festival of Authors at Harbourfront, MuchMusic and Bravo!, and eight years as a freelance writer and television producer Carla Lucchetta has written everything from press releases, press kits, brochures, websites, annual reports, CRTC applications, speeches, feature newspaper and magazine articles, web articles, television scripts, and book proposals. Conducting off camera interviews is also a talent.
In addition, she has taught at Simon Fraser University's Continuing Education Writing and Publishing Program - both a course she designed for PR practioners called The Art of the Pitch, as well as a seminar entitled Career Options in Freelance Writing. For four years, she was on the advisory committee of that program.
Carla has hosted readings at Word on the Street as well as various independent author events.
