Taking a small minute out of my life to appreciate that it is finally spring - noticing that I waited until I was sure it wouldn't snow again despite the very warm Toronto weather! 

So, after a couple weeks of sun and warmth, I finally put my boots and coats in the basement storage, and took out my bike.

Earlier this week leaves started to sprout on the trees in my backyard and behold! - yesterday I saw my first fully bloomed magnolia tree! That does a heart good.

My bike got stolen last weekend by pesky neighbourhood thieves, which bummed me out completely since bike riding on the Waterfront Trail is my summer ticket out of sizzling concrete, smelly city. But two angels in the form of my aunt and uncle gave me a cool vintage women's 3 speed cruiser that will do the trick.

So all is well, and it's really and truly SPRING!
